Titanium product head is a key pressure bearing closure component at the end of titanium pressure vessels or equipment, usually in the shape of an ellipse, disc, hemisphere, cone, or flat cover. It is not only an important component of the equipment, ensuring the integrity of the pressure sealing of the equipment, but also one of the key defense lines for materials to come into contact with titanium materials and withstand corrosion. Core features: Excellent corrosion resistance: Consistent with the material of the equipment body (cylinder), it can withstand strong corrosive media stored or reacted in the container (such as various acids, alkalis, salts, and chloride solutions), ensuring the corrosion resistance consistency of the entire system. High strength and good formability: Industrial pure titanium and titanium alloys have good plastic deformation ability under cold and hot processing, and can be processed into complex curved shapes through stamping, spinning and other processes, and maintain sufficient strength to withstand design pressure after forming. High cleanliness and safety: Its dense surface is pollution-free and poses no risk of detachment, ensuring high purity of stored or reacted materials. As a pressure bearing component, its forming quality and welding quality are directly related to the safe operation of the equipment. Main types (by shape): Elliptical Head (EHA/EHB): Widely used, with good stress state, moderate depth, and relatively easy manufacturing. Disc shaped head (THA/THB): also known as a spherical head with folded edges, it is relatively simple to manufacture but does not withstand as much force as an elliptical head. Hemispherical head: It has good stress state, requires small thickness, but has a large depth, making it difficult and costly to form. Conical head: used for discharge at the bottom of equipment or transition section with variable diameter. Flat cover: With a simple structure, it is used for low-pressure, small diameter, or frequently opened equipment. Manufacturing process: Integral stamping/spinning forming: a common method suitable for various standard heads. Split joint welding forming: used for heads with super large diameters that cannot be formed as a whole. Casting molding: suitable for extremely complex shapes or special internal components, less commonly used for pure heads. Main application areas: As a core component, it is widely used in all titanium pressure vessels and equipment: End caps for equipment such as titanium storage tanks, titanium reaction vessels, titanium heat exchangers, titanium evaporators, and titanium extraction tanks. Titanium pipe end caps (blind plates) in pipeline systems. Industry coverage: chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, marine engineering, power environmental protection, food processing and all other fields that use titanium equipment.
